Beier Radio is pleased to announce a company name change to Beier Integrated Systems (a Beier Radio Company).

Though the name has changed, our commitment in providing quality systems and expert services remains untouched.  Beier Integrated Systems continues to offer Integrated DP Systems and expert engineering, installation, commissioning, post-sales service and support as provided over the past 75 plus years as Beier Radio.

Beier Radio’s name remains intact as the parent corporation for Beier Integrated Systems, Sentinel, South Coast Electric and The Marine Training Institute.

Beier Radio, founded in 1945, continues to lead in the ever-evolving marine electronics industry today.  Having supplied DP Systems to hundreds of vessels over the years, we continue to be recognized as the reliable provider of turnkey vessel controls and navigation solutions.  Our Integrated Engineering Team and Installation Techs specialize in retrofit projects, providing custom-designed systems for our clients, thereby reducing operational downtime, so they can continue to achieve the highest level of performance.

Beier Integrated Systems manufactures Vessel Monitoring and Management Systems, Communication, Navigation, Steering and Dynamic Positioning Systems.  We also continue to offer, Shaft Tachs, Navigation Light Panels and much much more in the way of industrial and marine products.

With corporate offices in the United States and agents located world-wide (Singapore, Shanghai, West Africa, Brazil and Mexico), we provide international support for our products and customers.

In 2016 Beier Integrated Systems acquires South Coast Electric, LLC located in Hancock County, Mississippi. This move significantly enhanced our integration capability by providing custom engineered/manufactured switchgear and electrical control systems.

In 2014 Beier Radio relocates its Management Team and Administrative Offices to Mandeville, Louisiana for faster access to its customers located throughout the Gulf Coast.

In 2014 Beier Radio moves into its newly constructed state of the art Manufacturing and Service Facility in Gray, Louisiana.

In 2014 Beier Radio’s Training Staff moves into its new facility in Gray, Louisiana where they continue to provide DP, ECDIS, Radar and other Training Courses to its customers/mariners. The name of the newly relocated school was also changed to: The Marine Training Institute.

In 2012 Beier Radio acquires the Engineering and Manufacturing Company Sentinel Controls.

In 2009 Beier Radio expands its international service support network with agents in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nigeria and Brazil.

In 2007 Beier Radio opened its DP Training Center in Belle Chasse, Louisiana receiving international certification from the Nautical Institute in London.

In 1999 Beier Radio developed conceptual plans for a new Dynamic Positioning System. Over the following years, Beier teamed with Navis Engineering of Finland in developing the hardware and software necessary to create what is known today as the IVCS2000 Integrated Vessel Control System.

In 1980 Beier Radio began distributing Dynamic Positioning Systems. From 1975 to 1998, Beier Radio represented all of the major DP manufacturers, Kongsburg, Robertson, Simrad and Nautronix.

In 1975 Beier Radio began providing systems integration of mechanical , hydraulic and pneumatic systems with controls.

Founded in 1945 as Frank L. Beier Radio became one of the first marine electronic distributors in the Southern part of the USA.
